Sahil Kassam is a picture editor and commercial cinematographer, based in Ontario, Canada.
Involved in editing from a young age, Sahil has worked on a variety of projects spanning scale and genre, with the bulk of his recent working consisting of films, commercials, and documentaries.
Sahil has also trained as a Steadicam operator, with experience working on numerous commercials, performances, and short films.
With a large interest in culture and language, Sahil manages Ibunka.tv — a language-learning and exposure platform, that contains curated content in a variety of languages.
In late 2023, Sahil participated in Guelph's 48 Hour Film Challenge as editor of the short film "Ring," which was awarded Best Editing and Best Audio. More recently, the short film "Ghostofyou." — on which Sahil acted as Director of Photography and Editor — received official selection at Lift-Off Global Network's Sessions, and Cult Movies International Film Festival.
